What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Vrt-u.com uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption on all pages of the web site including pages where we ask you to submit personally identifiable information and encrypt all such information for safe storage in our system.
Information we collect automatically
We also gather non-PII when you use the Service, including type of browser you use, access time, pages viewed, your IP address; and we collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access the website, including without limitation operating system and unique device identifiers and mobile network information. This data is used to better understand and enhance the user experience on the Site and Apps. Vrt-u may publish these statistics or share them with third parties without including PII. Some browsers allow you to indicate that you would not like your online activities tracked, using “Do Not Track” indicators (“DNT Indicators”), however we are not obligated to respond to these indicators. Presently we are not set up to respond to DNT Indicators. We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect. For example, we may collect information about you from other users, sign-in services, like Facebook Connect or Google Authenticator, when you provide Vrt-u with permission to access certain information about you such as your Facebook User ID, user profile, friends list, user graph and profile picture. User generated content posted through certain social networking preferences (e.g. pages you “Like” or “Follow”) may be viewed by the general public. Accordingly, Vrt-u cannot ensure the privacy of any PII included in such User generated content.
Location information
When you use the vrt-u.com website or application, a location feature exists whereby it will automatically collect your geolocation information. We may also use location information to provide information and advertising to users. Once information has been collected, we encrypt sensitive data in our database for added security. Vrt-u also uses firewalls and hardware monitoring across our system to protect against unauthorized access. Unfortunately, even with these measures, Vrt-u cannot guarantee the security of PII. By using our website or application, you acknowledge and agree that Vrt-u makes no such guarantee, and that you use the our service at your own risk.
Financial information
If you elect to pay for services with a credit card, we will use a third party to process this information. We do not store credit card numbers or other payment details on the site.

Caldera Forms: Data Collection
Caldera Forms stores a record of all contact form submissions. Your data may be deleted by the site administrator. You may request a report of saved data related to your email address and request to have it deleted.
